Weekly Calendar

TERM 4, 2013

Week 1, 15 October

Welcome Back to Playgroup! – Rowena has something exciting up her sleeve for our first morning back at playgroup 🙂

Week 2, 22 October

Song Card Craft – At this session we’re putting two of our favourite loves together – songs AND craft!  We will be creating our song cards to be kept at Playgroup. So while some parents and children help with tidy up time, there will be an allocated parent to help children choose a song card, ready for the song circle!

Think about what one of your favourite songs is….maybe you have two!

We will be able to write them out or print them up, and then the children can decorate.

Week 3, 29th October

Pinwheels -Colouring & crafting our own pinwheels. Keep them in a pot under the verandah, in your garden or maybe even by your letter box! Let it the wind catch it & spin spin spin!

Week 4, 5 November

Sock Grassy Friends – Old socks, some seeds and googly eyes!  We will make some sock friends who will sprout grassy green hair! If you have an old sock, please bring it along on the day 🙂

Week 5, 12 November

If you have any lovely coloured sand or dirt, or little rocks that we could use on our jars, please bring it along in a bucket.

Week 6, 19 November

Water Play – Float, sink, splash, pour, trickle, squirt! Lots of fun things to do with water.  Playing IS learning!

Week 7, 26 November

Guest Parent – This week Nic & Rowie are relaxing with their children at playgroup as a very kind and generous guest parent takes control! We are SO grateful – and can’t wait to see what she has in store!
